The dispensers for fabric softener and bleach are usually removable. On my machine, the fabric softener dispenser at the top of the agitator just twisted right off, and the bleach dispenser in the corner popped up when I pulled gently.

The product is state of the art and light years ahead of the tablet-style chlorinators. This is a proven disinfection device that meets the applicable requirements of NSF standard 46 for chlorine dispensers. Certification requires the device to be used with 6% sodium hypochlorite (household bleach). The residential dispenser holds about 4 gallons of bleach. For a family of 4 that has average water consumption, the automatic bleach dispenser will use about one gallon of bleach a month. We can also accommodate our commercial customers with a commercial model.

|Checkrate/Likes         The bleach dispenser cup on the Duet I recently refurbished consistently does not siphon empty. Whether bleach is used or not (I've used it only once thus far), the cup is left full of water. This only happens on the bleach cup ... the softener cup does siphon properly empty. Of course, I completely disassembled and cleaned the drawer, inserts, and dispenser housing. Nothing is clogged, it just doesn't siphon empty. The drawer must be removed and emptied if bleach is used, else it'll overflow and drain immediately when bleach is added. Is there a fix?|
