I think it’s so important to take care of our clothing the right way. My helpers messed up so many of my clothing because they used the wrong detergent and method.
Just a suggestion to the City of Longview concerning spraying the elm trees for aphids with a pesticide that kills bees: Have you checked the internet for safe ways to get rid of aphids? An effective way is to spray with a certain brand of dishwashing detergent, mixed with water. The name brand is listed on the site. Seems it would be safe for bees and more cost-effective for the city. I’ve used the detergent method on roses and other garden plants for years with desired results. With the money saved on pesticides perhaps the city could provide some bee hives for the community gardens. Our country is trying to save the declining honeybee population so it doesn’t seem right to use a product that will kill them.
