I put new beige color jeans in clean plastic container; added water, added Javex regular liquid bleach, added liquid soap (Arm and Hammer - navy blue in color). The jeans turned light pink almost immediately. I tried a new solution of same bleach twice. The jeans are still light pink, not the slightest of change. Jeans have not yet been put in dryer but were dried on hanger.

The Clorox Company hopes to take
its Clorox 30 oz. Regular Liquid Bleach
product and market it to minority populations such as black and hispanic
people (“Hispanic Consumers and
Household Products: U.S.,” 2013).
Research conducted for black and
hispanic consumers shows that

effectiveness and sensory experiences through the use
of fragrance (“Hispanic Consumers and Household Products: U.S.,” 2013). According to this
same research report, product effectiveness and sensory experiences are more important to consumers than packaging related issues.
Avoid using any bleaches that contain perfumes, dyes and other additives. Use only regular household liquid bleach that contains 5.25 to 6.0 percent sodium hypochlorite. Chlorox has recently come out with a new product “Clorox Ultra”. They have changed the concentration of Sodium Hypochlorite (chlorine) from 5.25% concentration to 6%, and they have added Sodium Hydroxide. They are doing this to reduce the size of the containers. Chlorox has stated that this is safe to use for water purification.
